The 100 Mile District General Hospital Auxiliary is holding its annual Christmas Bake Sale on Nov. 25 from 9 a.m. to noon in the lobby of the hospital.
"We'll have craft tables along with our bake tables," says auxiliary president Mina Elsworth.
She adds they are also holding a 50/50 raffle.
The auxiliary members are hard at work selling raffle tickets, too. They will be available at the bake sale, as well as various locations, including Safeway, Save-On-Foods and the 108 Mall from now until the draw date on Dec. 15.
There are four prizes to be won from the $2 tickets. They include a $100 lottery tickets wreath, a Christmas basket donate by Save-On-Foods, an afghan and Cut-work table runner, and a ladies purple spa package.
"All the money raised is going towards equipment for our patients," says Elsworth.
"We are hoping to get a blanket warmer, which costs about $5,000."
