SMAC news

The Seventy Mile Access Centre (SMAC) hosted a volunteer appreciation dinner for volunteers and family on Dec. 1.

It was held at the Little Horse Lodge, which provided a buffet of a variety of dishes. The 23 people attending greatly enjoyed the dinner, and the staff was kept busy filling coffee cups.

Unfortunately, the lodge is closing.

There will be a general meeting at SMAC at the centre on Jan. 8 at 10 a.m., and everyone is welcome.

SMAC will be closed from Dec. 22 to Jan. 3 and will re-open on Jan. 4.
