The Horse Lake Community Farm Co-operative (HLCFC) is welcoming the community to come out for Family Farm Day on Sunday (Aug. 11) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
It will feature a low-impact nature walk led by biologist Kristi Iverson to explore the farm riparian areas, field and poplar forest at 1:30 p.m.
There will be garden tours, snacks and refreshments, and some small livestock for the children to enjoy.
Anyone who is interested in finding out more about the co-op and membership is encouraged to turn out for Family Farm Day at its 133-acre heritage property.
The farm is one kilometre north on Doman Road off Horse Lake Road, 24 km from 100 Mile House.
