Sandi Reed demonstrated the art of rug hooking during the Clinton Art Show on the Sept. 30 weekend.

The Clinton Art and Cultural Society held a successful art show on Sept. 30-Oct. 1-2 in the Clinton Memorial Hall.

In addition to the paintings and photographic displays, a number of artisans were on hand to explain and demonstrate their crafts. Jewelry, rug hooking, clay moulding, leatherwork and more were on display.

The opening reception on Friday evening saw a good turnout. Saturday and Sunday had a steady flow of visitors to the show.

A show like this just highlights the fact there is a lot of talent in the Interior. This was a good place to see it.
