The South Cariboo Health Foundation’s annual Studio 2 Studio art crawl features paintings, felt art, silverwork, photographs, hand-made jewellery, pottery, raku, sketches, quilts, cards and more.

The works of 11 artists will be displayed in six homes in 108 Mile Ranch. People will be welcomed into the intimate home settings to speak to the artists and enjoy or even purchase unique artwork.

Twenty-five per cent of sales are being donated to the foundation to purchase equipment for the hospital.

Brenda Devine, the foundation’s public relations and fundraising coordinator, said all of the funds raised stay inside the community.

“If we are going to attract and keep doctors, top of the line equipment helps our cause for recruitment. The hospital, as you know, is one of the most important facilities in the community and the South Cariboo Health Foundation is committed to its ongoing operation.”

The fundraiser is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 8, and admission is free.
