The next poker tournament will be held Dec. 13 at the 70 Mile Community Hall.

Doors open at 11:30 a.m. and play starts at 12:30 p.m. Lunch and supper are available.

Bingo slated

The special Christmas bingo will be held Dec. 11 at Seventy Mile Access Centre (SMAC), with turkeys, hams and cash prizes.

There will also be good neighbour prizes and food. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and play starts at 6:30. Call Vic at 250-456-2321 for more information.

The holiday schedule for SMAC has been posted.

The centre will be open Dec. 20 and then will be closed from Dec. 21 to Jan. 2, and will open Jan. 3.

A general meeting will be held at the centre on Dec. 13 at 10 a.m.
