John Angus CONNON

Feb. 21, 1927 – July 4, 2005

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved father. Angus passed away at home beside his loving family in 100 Mile House B.C. He leaves behind the companionship of Melanie Laurent of Nazko, B.C., brother Mac (Maize) of Kamloops, B.C.; daughter Wendy (Vic) Petit of Kamloops; daughter Linda (Don) Blyth of Maple Ridge, B.C.; son Jamie (Jackie) Connon of Delta, B.C.; son Glenn (Jenny) Connon of 100 Mile House; daughter Dina Connon of Clinton, B.C.; daughter Sandra (Alan) Caslake of Abbotsford and 100 Mile House; daughter Chris L’heureux of White Court Alta.; daughter Leslie (Larry) MacDonald of Clinton; daughter June (Bill) Nelson of Clinton; and daughter Sharon Solowoniuk of Revelstoke B.C.; marriage of many years, shared children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and true friend Bonnie Connon of Clinton. On behalf of our beloved father the Connon family would like to extend our thanks to all who made it possible for our father’s final days: Dr. Franky Mah; 100 Mile House Community Care unit; nurses; South Cariboo home support; Palliative Care team; hospice; Gunn’s Funeral Home; good friend and neighbours: John and Mia Rosario, Art and Gloria Schievink; renting home to daughter Sandra Caslake in time of need – Peter, Lynn Leslie; loving friend who cared in dad’s need – Norbert Pucher; neighbour, friend who helped ease the care & duties – Glenn and Carrie Watson; many who we may have left out – our sincere thanks.
