Brett Allan Marce, age 47 was tragically taken from us on October 21, 2009.
Brett loved his family and friends with his entire heart and soul. He was a big man with a big heart and was felt by all who knew him. He enthusiastically embraced life and was unconditionally devoted to his wife and sons. Brett loved his rock and roll, animals, the outdoors and making people smile – he had a genuine lust for life and new-found love for hockey.
Brett was an experienced, professional truck driver, known and respected by many like him in his driving career. Brett was also an important community volunteer with the Lac La Hache Volunteer Fire Department, the community arena and any other place he was needed. His mischievous smirk and his giving nature will be lovingly remembered by everyone.
Brett is survived by his loving wife Kelly, sons Jack and Josh, parents Clifford Joseph “Bud” and Arvella Pearl “Val” Marce, his brothers and sisters, Donna, Don, Mike, Patty (George Greenwell), Craig, Sherry, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, October 31, 2009 at the Lac La Hache Community Hall at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to your local SPCA.
