April 15, 1966 - Dec. 2016

It is with great sadness that the family of Allan Douglas Burroughs announces his passing at Hendrix Lake, BC in December, 2016.

Allan was born April 5, 1966 in Burnaby, BC, the youngest of 3 children, to parents Mary L. Burroughs and Thomas (Jim) Burroughs (deceased Dec., 2014). He also leaves to mourn his sister, Gwen Schaffer (David) of Kamloops and brother, Leonard (Len) Burroughs of 100 Mile House; daughters, Ashley Burroughs of West Kelowna (Westbank), BC and Alexandria Burroughs of Kamloops, BC. and many other relatives.

Although Allan had many struggles throughout the years, he had finally managed to find a peaceful place in his life for the past few years, living in the Cariboo country that he so loved, where he could work on his beloved computers while enjoying nature. Allan was an accomplished computer technician, having almost completed his diploma training at TRU in Kamloops. As well, he completed his Automotive Technician training at TRU. He was well known in Kamloops for his savvy computer skills. His many friends and acquaintances from 100 Mile House, Kamloops and around the world will certainly miss his intelligence, wit, charm and beautiful smile. May he finally have found his peace.

Allan will be interred at a later date with his beloved niece, Andrea, in the 100 Mile House, BC cemetery.
