The King’s Quilters, a group of approximately fifteen members and friends of Christ the King Lutheran Church, is sending off a record number of quilts to needy developing countries.
Along with the 119 quilts, the women also made 250 dresses and 140 pairs of boys’ shorts.
The King’s Quilters has been meeting once a week and working on the quilts and clothing items since the Fall.
The community has been very supportive in providing much of the material required for this initiative.
The fruit of the ladies’ labours were blessed by Pastor Andy Kahle at a recent Sunday church service at Christ The King Lutheran Church.
