The Green Lake Snowmobile Club is holding its Third Annual Poker Ride on Dec. 31, with registration at 9 a.m. at its clubhouse on South Green Lake Road.

The first sleds will hit the trail at 10 a.m. and the cost to participate is by cash donation. All money raised will be donated to the BC Lions Club for Children with Disabilities.

In January 2011, the ride raised $2,000.

The length of the course is expected to be between 40 and 50 kilometres, depending on snow conditions and there will be many prizes to be given away. At the clubhouse, participants will be able to purchase hotdogs, hamburgers, chili and donuts, as well as hot and cold drinks.
