The Forest Grove & District Rod and Gun Club held its annual general meeting on April 13 at the Canim Lake Resort.
The following members were re-elected for another year: president Gerhard Loeffeler, vice-president Rudy Gauss, secretary-treasurer Elizabeth Sarkozy and range director Fred Saenger. Robert Mayer is the newly elected fishing director.
The club has several events planned for the next few months.
It is kicking off the season with a trap shooting event and barbecue – the Fifth Annual Hans Saenger Memorial Shoot on May 4 at the Forest Grove Shooting Range.
There's a fishing derby scheduled for the Family Fishing Day Weekend on June 13-15.
There are also monthly trap shoots at the Canim Lake range and an introductory course to rifles and shotguns for women.
