In an extremely close contest on June 27, the Shuswap Defenders got by the Sanford and Dillman Hornets 4-2.
Despite 13 strikeouts by Sanford's Reg Hooper, the Hornets couldn't come back from a three RBI homer by Shuswap's Robin Gilbert.
