Riders place high at gymkhanas

Carolyn Cook rode to a first place tie at a gymkhana in 100 Mile House at the 100 Mile & District Outriders Club grounds on July 20.

Horse riders competed at the 100 Mile & District Outriders Club grounds in a number of categories during two separate gymkhana events in July and June.

Kassidy Kolisnyk finished first in the peewee category on July 20. Rogan Day was second and Callie Pincott and Lara Pincott tied for third.

In junior,  Elyas Day and Kennedy Kolisnyk tied for first, while Blythe Day was third.

Cecilia Warren and Cassidy Mellott tied for first in intermediate and Alana Chamberlain was third.

Mandy Pincott, Shawneen Day and Carolyn Cook all tied for first place in the senior category.

Tammy Bittner was first in Jack Benny, with Linda L. in second place and denise little in third place.

The June 30 gymkhana in 100 Mile House saw R. Day win the peewee category, with Pincott as runner-up and Kassidy Kolisnyk rounding out the top three.

Mackenzie Hannas was first place in junior, with E. Day and B. Day tied in second spot and Kennedy Kolisnyk in third.

In the senior division, M. Pincott was first, C. Cook was second place and S. Day was third.

Denise Little finished first in Jack Benny, with Tracy Kolisnyk in second spot and Joan R. in third place.

Next up on the schedule the 100 Mile & District Outriders Club members are ready to ride again in 100 Mile House on Aug. 17.
