RE/MAX Cup satisfies hockey craving

The RE/MAX hockey tournament on Feb. 25-27 was full of thrills and spills.

Recreational hockey teams came from Vancouver, Kamloops, Quesnel, Williams Lake and 100 Mile House to compete at the RE/MAX Cup on Feb. 25-27 at the South Cariboo Rec. Centre.

The tournament featured four divisions, and in the end, the winners of each finished undefeated.

The Williams Lake Ice Cats posted no losses to win the Ladies division, as did the Vancouver Smokin' Guns, who took the Recreational division.

In the 35-plus Men's category, it was Team Wicked from Vancouver that took first place with no losses.

The Old Cats from 100 Mile House was the only local team to take a division win, dominating the 45-plus Men's category.
