The Joanne Doddridge rink from 100 Mile House made a good showing at the Quesnel Curling Club's 52nd Annual Wheel-n-Spiel ladies bonspiel in Quesnel, Feb. 3-5.

They placed second in the B event, losing 8-4 to the Loreen Amonson rink from Prince George in the final.

Qualifying for the B event came after a first game loss, followed by three consecutive wins throughout the rest of the weekend.

Other members of the team were Shannon Knapp playing third, Tanya Elliot at second and Hollis Ney at lead.

The event attracted 30 teams and Doddridge was the only one from 100 Mile House.
