The 100 Mile House Wranglers traded in their hockey sticks for swords last week.
On Wednesday, Nov. 20 the Wranglers cancelled their usual practice in favour of learning the finer arts of swordplay from Tristan Feissli of Cariboo Bladed combat. The hockey players spent the better part of two hours learning how to strike, defend and parry before enjoying a fun game of capture the flag.
Outside of one or two blows below the belt, the hockey players proved adept and enthusiastic swordsmen.
