The Williams Lake Cycling Club hosted its second annual Peel Out Mountain Bike event on May 21-22 in the lake city.
Several South Cariboo riders participated and posted good results, including Brody Borg, who ranked third in the pro men's 19-29 Fox downhill event. Tyrel Phillips placed 17th in the same race.
In the 30-49 years age division, Colin Latimer was fifth, and in the boys aged 16-18 category, James Smith placed sixth.
Borg also finished sixth in the super-downhill event and Latimer was seventh.
Forty riders competed in Peel Out, which was a 45 per cent increase over last year's numbers, according to Justin Calof, Cariboo Mountain Bike Consortium chairperson.
"All in all, it was a great success."
