The latest results from the British Columbia Motocross Association (BCMA) are in for the racing circuit's recent stops in Smithers and Terrace.
In Smithers, Lac la Hache riders Mason Szatmari raced to fifth overall and Connor Szatmari to sixth in the 50cc (four to six) division on July 27.
C. Szatmari took home the checkered flag and 50 points in Smithers on July 26, while M. Szatmari finished fifth overall and won 20 points that day.
Brad Perron, also of Lac la Hache, raced to a seventh place overall finish in Junior MX-2 and a fourth overall placing in Junior MX-3 in Smithers on July 27.
Perron finished fourth overall and won 35 points in Junior MX-2 there on July 26, while riding to seventh overall in Junior MX-3, earning 28 points. In the Schoolboy division, Perron raced to third overall and 38 points.
The three Lac la Hache riders also made the long northwest commute to Terrace and hit the track on July 19-20.
C. Szatmari finished second overall in 50cc for a total of 47 points on July 20, while riding to a first place finish on July 19 for a total of 50 points.
M. Szatmari, in the same category, rode to fifth place overall and 32 points on July 20, while coming in sixth overall and 30 points on July 19.
Perron raced to fifth overall, and 32 points, in the Junior MX-2 division on July 20 and fourth overall and 32 points on July 19.
In Junior MX-3, Perron drove to third overall and 42 points on July 20 and third overall and 40 points on July 19.
Perron also raced the Schoolboy division, which saw a dozen riders on the track. The Lac la Hache speedster finished third overall for 38 points on July 20, improving from fifth overall and 32 points on July 19. Next on the BCMA schedule are races in Williams Lake Aug. 16-17 and Chetwynd Aug. 23.
