Hockey game raises funds for Dry Grad

Some of the funniest hockey of the season comes to the South Cariboo Rec. Centre, Jan. 31, as Grade 12 students take on teachers

Some of the funniest hockey of the season comes to the South Cariboo Rec. Centre, Jan. 31, as Grade 12 students take on teachers in the annual Peter Skene Ogden Secondary School Dry Grad hockey game.

It’s a fundraiser for Dry Grad 2013 celebrations, and the game is always loaded with laughs when both teams dress up in kooky costumes and rewrite the rules of hockey.

The puck drops at 7 p.m. and there will be an airplane toss contest with prizes, 50/50 draw and much more.

Admission is $5 at the door and children 12 years and under get in free of charge.

It’s a fun event for the whole family to enjoy, so come out to support the grads and help them make memories they’ll cherish for years to come.
