Linda Hames was among the winners this week at the 108 Ladies Golf Club hidden partners round.

The 108 Ladies Golf Club members mixed it up for some extra fun on their last game night on May 23, with a hidden partners format.

Partners were drawn after the scores were handed in and prizes were awarded to fourth place.

Twenty women signed up to play, with those who teed off in the morning greeted by a chilly 6 C temperature. The air warmed up as the day progressed, says Lorraine McCaffrey, club member.

She and Carol Ohlund found themselves paired up to win first place for the day.

The team of Sharon Classen and Linda Hames tied with the Annie McKave and Corrine French duo for second place.

Julietta Morete and Billie Scott scooped fourth place.

McKave also won the first flight par pot and Ohlund took the second flight pot. Third flight winner was Marie Weeden.

Only the first flight had a birdie pot winner, which was a split between Judy Scarrow and Kathy Waite.

The club plays every Monday, and next week, a pin-round format is planned, which will make up for the May 16 round that was rained out.
