Eleven local gymnasts are learning a variety of routines for upcoming competitions in 2015.

South Cariboo Rhythmic Gymnastics Club members are headed to North Vancouver in March, and Richmond in May, to demonstrate what they've been learning at their new training centre in 100 Mile House.

“These girls are having fun,” says coach Sang-Hee Robinson. “But they also have to learn specific skills... that requires attention from head to toe.”

The group's new location on Exeter Truck Road has benefited its competitors, with better hours and more time to practice.

The club is offering a workshop during spring break for anybody looking to give gymnastics a try, from March 9-13.
