Flag football is proving popular with some of the male population in 100 Mile House.

The free program, organized by Canlan facility manager Josh Dickerson, has been drawing a good crowd since it's start-up on Aug. 21.

Dickerson is on the field for every session and says flag football is a great way to enjoy playing the game without getting hurt. Furthermore, he would like to see more guys come out and join them.

The drop-in sessions are held every Sunday at 3 p.m. at 100 Mile House Elementary School.

There is no cost and the last session will be on Oct. 1.
