First time national competitors look forward to more training

Racers show off their skills against tough competition

The Little Britches Gymkhana took place on May 23 at the 100 Mile & District Outriders Club Grounds and there was a wide range of age and skill present.

Despite the weather, the girls came out to the event in high spirits and showed off what they could do.

Great efforts were made by the Stynen and Day sisters in the leadline and juniors events, while Amy Char and Jordyn Karl went back and forth in intermediate.

Raven Gentry and Lisa Manuel were a strong presence in the open events, while Carol Thorne and Denise Little showed how age and skill meld together in the old-timers races.
