There will be adult drop-in soccer for both men and women in 100 Mile House this summer.
Games will be played at the 100 Mile House & District Soccer Association soccer park on Thursdays from 7 to 9 p.m. or "until our legs do not carry us anymore," says organizer Werner Heine.
"We will all play together [all ages] since we do not have enough old guys like me coming out, so we play with the young bucks."
With quite a few students coming back for the summer from colleges and universities, he notes many of them also come out and join the fun.
It is a lot of fun and totally non-competitive, adds Heine
The program runs until September and has a $5 drop in fee or players can pay $35 for the season.
