100 Mile House boys working hard to grab first place away from Kamloops Storm

The 100 Mile House Wranglers picked up another important two point in Sicamous on Friday, as they continue to chase down the Kamloops Storm for the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League's Doug Birks Division title.

In a playoff style games, the Wranglers roped and tied the Eagles 3-2, with Alex Meeker (Ryan Friesen and Tate Page), Michael Lynch (Cole Zimmerman, Brett Harris) and Meeker (Alex Hanson, Harris) lighting up the score clock for 100 Mile House.

The Wranglers trail the Storm by one point as both teams head into away games on Saturday night. The Storm take on the Chase Heat, which is breathing down the necks of the top two teams in the division, while the Wrangler hope to take a bite of the Revelstoke Grizzlies.
