Drivers and cyclists are advised that Highway 1 will be closed on Sunday (Sept. 20) from 8 a.m. to noon to allow for extensive rock scaling approximately 13 kilometres west of Chase.

Travellers are advised to plan their trip well in advance and allow extra time. An alternative route is available via Highway 97 and 97A, or 97B.

Motorists are asked to drive with caution, follow all signs and watch for traffic control personnel.
