Marilyn Sedford won the Viewer Choice Award for her Piecemaker Calendar quilt at the Cariboo Calico Quilters Guild Quilt Show on June 12 at the 100 Mile House Community Hall. Some 206 quilts from 60 guild members were on display at the event.

The 100 Mile House Community Hall was filled with different colours, textures and patterns at the Cariboo Calico Quilters Guild (CCQG) Quilt Show on June 11-12.

Some 206 quilts from 60 guild members were on display, including a raffle quilt won by Liz Gillespie from 100 Mile House.

CCQG president Jan Kidston says she was proud of all the hard work the guild members put into their quilts.

It was fantastic to see everyone's work in one place. The variety of quilts was beautiful and fellow quilter Jana Seale brought a great energy to the room with her music. This was a great show done by everyone involved.”

The event raised more than $4,700 from raffle tickets and admission. The funds go towards CCQC expenses.

The next CCQC Quilt Show will take place in 2021.
