The Rotary Club of 100 Mile House and Friends hosted their annual Seniors Christmas dinner at the 100 Mile Community Hall on Dec. 3.

The free event saw a lot of turkey, music by Brad Potter and the Classmates, and after dinner, there was dancing.

Lots of people danced,” says Rotary Club president Wolfgang Paasche. “The night went on until 8:30 p.m.

This year, we had 350 people, he says, adding the tickets were gone the week after they were advertised.

The Rotary puts on the event to honour the seniors who built this town. For many people, it's the social event of the year.”
