Longtime residents honoured for donations

Health foundation holds luncheon for the McMillans

A total of 19 people turned out to show appreciation at a formal recognition luncheon held to honour and recognize Jim and Sheila McMillan for their contributions to the South Cariboo Health Foundation (SCHF).

The McMillan Family Trust donated $162,500 from 2006 to 2014, significantly helping the foundation toward its ongoing goal of supporting the local hospital and South Cariboo Health Centre.
