With Thanksgiving around the corner and local charity in mind, Central GM and Safeway are hoping fans “fill the pickup” with non-perishable food donations at upcoming 100 Mile House Wranglers games.
The Wranglers host Sicamous at 7 p.m. on Oct. 9 and Columbia Valley at 7 p.m. on Oct. 10.
A pickup truck will be parked outside the South Cariboo Rec. Centre to accept donated goods.
Cash donations will also be accepted and $5 food hampers will be available for purchase.
All proceeds are going to the 100 Mile House Food Bank Society and Loaves and Fishes Outreach.
