Trudeau junior kicking up a little dust

New Prime Minister needs to look at fact be bragging

To the editor:

Hopefully, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau had his tongue firmly pressed against his cheek when he told a BBC interviewer in London that his political opponents were slightly bewildered when he “left them in the dust.”

Before Justin Trudeau emulates his father’s bravado by pirouetting behind the Queen’s back, he should reflect on a few facts:

Stephen Harper was the Liberals’ most effective weapon because he had become a much despised leader.

The Conservative Party couldn’t get their guns out of their holsters during the campaign and kept shooting themselves in the feet.

Canada was ready for change and Justin’s charisma came along at the right time.

Trudeau’s Liberals only garnered 39.5 per cent of the votes in spite of all “the dust.”
