To the editor:
I would like to give thanks to the gentleman who paid for my breakfast, the morning of Nov. 11.
I was sitting in Smittys, in my Legion gear, when the manager informed me my meal had been paid for anonymously by a gentleman unknown to me.
I am proud to have served my country, and to be recognized for such is heartwarming. Sir, I salute you.
