Sulphurous Lake’s well-known pencil artist, Bryan Austerberry, is delighted to be having a solo showing of his drawings in the main gallery of the Station House Art Gallery in Williams Lake. The show opens on April 3 at 5:30 p.m.; he will be there and looks forward to having everyone join him, or you can drop into the gallery anytime before the show closes on April 26.

Bridge Lake Fair

Bridge Lake Fair has announced that the Container Contest for the 65th fair on August 16/17 requires that your plant/s be GROWN IN a “Child’s Toy.” This contest generally does not award any points but, rather, offers donated prizes to three places.

And, due to their popularity last year, the Zucchini Races will be on again!

Interlakes Community Centre (ICC)

Interlakes Community Centre is holding a Spring Dance from 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., Saturday, April 5. Dress to impress in your Spring best and join the fun, with music provided by Feisty Fox Music Services and smokies with all the fixings! Tickets are $25 each and include one loaded smokie. RSVP by March 29 by e-transferring to interlakesrodeo@outlook.com or pay at the hall.

Roe Lake & District Recreation Commission (RLDRC) has scheduled the annual general meetings for both itself and the Interlakes Community Centre Society for Tuesday, April 22 at the hall.  RLDRC’s meeting will commence at 6:30 p.m., and ICC’s at 7:30 p.m.

Members in good standing are eligible to attend and vote at these Annual General Meetings. Your 2025 membership fees of $10 can be paid in person at the hall or by e-transfer to interlakesrodeo@outlook.com.

Sadly, due to inclement weather and not much chance of a moon, the Mountain Spruce Community Centre Society cancelled its March 14 Full Moon Walk/Snowshoe.
