To the editor:
In her recent e-mail newsletter, Kamloops-Thompson-Cariboo MP Cathy McLeod claims the federal government deficit has been reduced by $55.6 billion, to a projected surplus of $1.4 billion for 2015/16.
She neglects to mention how her Conservative government has had massive federal budget deficits every year since 2008.
She also neglects to mention how the Conservatives have added $157 billion to the federal debt since 2008.
Her claims of responsible fiscal management are misleading.
