To the editor:
I am so impressed by the stand taken by Premier Christy Clark on preserving, protecting and promoting British Columbia interests, despite being pressured into signing the so-called National Energy Strategy, which is so un-national, if we do not care of our environmental issues.
Look at what happened in the United States, for all the spills, for business interests - it has ruined the environment, which we can never afford or allow.
I also offer myself to BC Liberal Party to contest the Surrey-Tyne Head provincial MLA, seat in 2013, where Dave Hayer has refused to participate due to personal reasons.
I strongly feel we need to support the premier in her vision of Beautiful British Columbia.
For the first time since her becoming the premier, B.C. is in safe hands.
I'm initiating a "B.C. safe with Christy" campaign on Aug. 15 from Surrey, which will ensure her win in 2013, including forming a B.C. Liberal government in 2013.
