To the editor:
What happened to our pension fund?
Was it not the Baby Boomers that have paid the biggest portions toward their retirement? Where did all these billions upon billions of hard-earned and taxed dollars go?
The [Prime Minister Stephen] Harper administration is constantly talking about transparency. Where is that transparency now?
It’s once again the foot soldiers who are being asked to take a step back and not the rich and very rich who likely never made a fair contribution.
Why make such a heavy-handed announcement when abroad instead of in the House of Commons, where it would meet with a healthy opposition and debate?
Was it to impress other countries that unfortunately do not have the natural resources as we do?
It’s always easy to talk big when you are on top.
I think Mr. Harper will get all the answers come federal election time.
