April was a busy month for the Lone Butte 4H Club.
We attended a district judging rally in Williams Lake on April 6, we hosted the district’s 4H communications day at the Lone Butte Hall on April 20 and finished that day with our gardening club and Cloverbuds doing a workshop on seasonal planting at the Horse Lake Garden Centre.
Our Cloverbuds used this workshop as part of their outdoor living unit to understand how to plant from seeds, transplant growing plans and take care of existing ones. Everyone had a great time and got to take their basket home. We would like to thank Horse Lake Garden Centre for their generous donation of time and resources to make this happen for the members of our club!
Our members are now fully immersed in their projects of choice and are enjoying watching their animals and plants grow and flourish. Keep your eyes out for more fun updates, we’re excited to show our community what we’re up to this year!
