Stu passed away peacefully with family by his side at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops.
He is survived by Ethel, his loving wife of 52 years; two children: Michael (Janis) and Amanda; five grandchildren: Justin, Benjamin, Christopher (Loni), Chelsi and Brittany; three sisters in England: Dorothy, Marjorie (Jim), Carole (Barry); and many nieces and nephews.
Stu was predeceased by his parents, John and Elsie and by his sister Enid, in England.
He was born and raised in Felling, England, where he also met and married his wife in 1960. In 1966 Stu and family moved to 100 Mile House, B.C. His hobbies included gardening, birds, British tv shows, playing the lottery and his animals.
The family would like to thank Dr. Street, his long-time physican, Dr. Hutchinson and staff at 100 Mile House Hospital; as well as all staff in the ICU and Palliative Care wards at Royal Inland Hospital.
