June 9, 1936 – Dec. 28, 2009
Bill left us unexpectedly on December 28, 2009 at Kamloops Royal Inland Hospital due to complications from illness. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He is survived and sadly missed by his wife, Thelma, of 53 years; daughters Sherry and Brenda (Jim); son Billy (Janice); grandchildren Jason, Andrew, Kyle and Jamie; sisters Marie (Don), Rita; brothers Ray, Walter (Maggie); many nieces and nephews; two sisters-in-law Jean, Joan (Don); his dear friends Mike, Helen, Nevenka, Robbie and Jackie; his many friends and acquaintenances; and his four-legged buddy and companion Lucky Sam and his buddy Trooper.
Bill was born in North Bay, Ontario. He moved to Calgary in 1952 and spent three years in the Military. He later met his wife, they married and settled in Port Moody, B.C. and raised their three children. They later moved to Deka Lake, B.C. in 1977. Bill worked in the tire industry for many years until he retired and took up woodworking.
Bill, the family says… “See ya next time around.”
A celebration of Bill’s life will be held in Maple Ridge, B.C.
