Wilbert “Bill” Kieler, long time resident of Lone Butte-100 Mile House , passed away on Jan. 24, 2004 in his 90th year. Predeceased by his wife Lorena. He is survived by his loving family: son, Dale Kieler; daughters, Edna Welburn, Doreen (Ray) Rondquist, Kim (Betty-Lou) Kieler; grandchildren Ken (Ruth) Welburn, Debbie (Bob) Tuohey, Rayla (Gordon) Reid, David (Lee) Rondquist; great-grandchildren Jennifer, Jessica, Francis (Todd), Shamus (Kelly), Raylene, Kelsi, Christopher (Crystal), Nicole, Bradley, Kurtis, Sierra, Richelle, Garritt, Jordan, Skylar and one great-great-grandson Sterling Reid. A memorial service was held in Surrey on Jan. 29. A graveside service will be held in 100 Mile in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the George Derby Center, Burnaby.
