It is with great sadness the family of Jack Hunt announces his passing on Jan. 20, 2009. Jack was predeceased by his father, (Jack), mother (Emily), son (Wesley) and daughter (Jacqueline). Jack is survived by his loving wife Dorothy Hunt, daughter Vivian Clark and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Born in England, Jack moved to Nova Scotia, Canada at the age of eight with his parents. As a young man, Jack entered the military service and fought in WWII. In 1942, Jack and Dorothy were married and started a family. In 1950, the family moved to Forest Grove, B.C. The Hunt family was one of the first families to homestead in the Forest Grove area. There, Jack built his own home, to raise their three children in. He loved working with wood and enjoyed this into his retirement years. Jack was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors. He will be missed by all who knew him. A Memorial

in Jack’s honour will be held at the Forest Grove Legion on Saturday, January 31 at 1:30pm with Pastor John Marshall officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jack’s memory to

the 100 Mile Hospital Authority Bag 399, 100 Mile House, B.C. V0K 2E0.
