Walter was born and raised in Saskatchewan and later in Cloverdale, by loving parents, Walter and Maggie Folk.
Predeceased by Mom and Dad and his five siblings Mike, John, Ed, Mary and Don; nephews Wayne, Kenny and Rodger.
Survived by Marg, his loving wife of 51 years and nephew and best friend, Lorne (Trudy), his brother Joe (Alice) and sister-in-law Liz, and many nieces and nephews.
Can’t forget his dog, Jessie, who he loved and spoiled, always having a treat for her in his pocket. She misses him — as we all do!
Walt loved his life in 100 Mile House and all that went with it, but most of all the people and friends he made along the way!
At Walt’s request, there will be no service.
