Travis Ryan Dillman came into the world 10 weeks pre-mature on Oct 17, 1983 to proud parents Rod Dillman and Carrie Emslie. He also left this world far too early, at the age of 24, after being caught in an avalanche while snowmobiling in the mountains that he grew up in and loved. Travis was very active and enjoyed baseball, hockey, dirt biking, RC car racing and snowmobiling. Travis attended PSO and graduated in 2001. Travis took the opportunity to go to Rainbow Lake, Alberta and learn the oil field industry where he excelled and worked his way to the top of the company. He was well respected by his peers. His new job duties took him to Grande Cache, Alberta where he was excited to be back in the mountains and said it reminded him of home. It was there that he and Shannon Krueger decided to make their home. They bought a house and recently got engaged. Travis touched the lives of many people young and old. He often came home to visit his family and friends. He had a zest for life and lived life to the fullest. His glowing smile and warm heart will be cherished forever by his fiancé Shannon Krueger (and her family), Dad Rod Dillman (Deb), Mom Carrie Emslie, brother Jordan, stepbrother Trevor, stepsister Tanara, Grandparents Marven and Shirley Dillman, Great Grandmother Muriel Dillman, Uncle Rick, Aunt Alana, Grandparents Al and Ellie Emslie, Auntie Lori, Uncle Dean, and many nieces, nephews and friends, as well as his cat Levi. A celebration of Travis’ life was held on December 29th, 2007 in 100 Mile House. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to 100 Mile House & District Search and Rescue at Box 1268, 100 Mile House, BC VOK-2E0
