Thomas Henry WARD

Announcing the untimely passing of Thomas Henry Ward, 66 years of age, on Fri., Nov. 26, 2004 in Tappen, B.C. Born to Thomas and Elizabeth Ward on April 23, 1938 in Duncan, B.C. Predeceased by his parents and siblings: brothers Walter and Denny and sister Lillian. Tom is survived by his loving wife Linda Robertson; sons Kirk (wife Denise, children Meghan and Justin) Christopher (wife Joy, children Jessalynn and Kaitlin); daughter Melinda (husband Rudi and son Isaac); sister Marjorie, Clara, Doris and brothers James, Larry and Stanley. In-laws Vern and Helen Colgan, Dave and Laura Colgan and nephew Christopher Colgan. Tom was a loving, caring man with an incredible love, and talent, for music and the ability to play many instruments. He could sing and whistle incredibly, not to mention yodel faster than any could imagine (which was requested at many family gatherings and other functions). Known first and foremost as an Electrical Contractor. He also ran, with the assistance of Linda, their gravel company and buffalo ranch all the while working full time for Interior Roads. Recently retired and looking forward to travelling with Linda in their motorhome. Tom will be incredibly missed by all of his family and friends. No service by request, but a “Celebration Tea” was held on Dec. 4, 2004 at the Interlakes Community Hall on Hwy. 24 at Roe Lake, B.C. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the B.C. Children’s Hospital – Cancer Ward, on his behalf.
