1931 - 2007
Celebration of Life Services were held Monday January 8th, 2007 in 100 Mile House, B.C. for Thelma Welbourn (née Larsen). Thelma is survived by her loving husband (of 56 years) George and son Derek. Other family members include brothers, Ray and John Larsen and sisters, Pat Sutherland, Elaine Craige and Betty Dannenfelser; She was predeceased by her parents Ottar and Inez Larsen. Thelma and George were long time residents of Salmo. They moved to Cranbrook and then to 100 Mile in 1978. Thelma will be remembered as a person of great generosity and warmth. She was always happiest when doing things for other people. She lived quietly near the end of her life being in the advanced stages of Parkinsons disease. But even this couldn’t dull her personality and her traits of generosity, concern for family and friends and her great sense of humor. She will be missed by all who knew her.
