Susan Carol Homan DeGroot was born November 24, 1954 in Bella Coola, BC. She was the most beautiful baby, so fair with blue eyes. She was always known as our “Sweet Sue”. As a little girl she loved her dolls and was good at putting puzzles together beginning at a very young age. Susan suffered a cerebral aneurysm at age 17; the doctor said if she survived she may never walk again. Through the power of many prayers she recovered completely only losing her sense of smell. We felt her life has been a gift. The loves of Susan’s life were her four beautiful daughters and now her four grandsons. Susan was predeceased by her daughter Sara and brother Ralph Robison. She leaves behind her daughters: Jenni (Ross) Astelford, grandsons Troy, Camron and Blaine of Chetwynd, Laura Hall and grandson Jordon of Bella Colla, Jesse (Ben) Smart of Colorado; loving parents Clarence and Nora Robison of 100 Mile House; brothers: Rick (Laurie) Homan of Mission, Charlie Robison of Aldergrove, Andrew Robison of 100 Mile House; sisters: Lynn (Erik) Bentsen of Nanaimo, Colleen (Larry) Klebusits of Utah, Nancy (Jeff) Potts of Winnipeg; as well her aunts, uncles, and many nieces and nephews.
