1928 - 2011

Stanley Buzdegan was called home on August 28, 2011. From the time he came to BC from Alberta in 1946, he worked at various jobs, from logging to mining, to even with a time with the carnival. The Tilt-O-Whirl was his ride.

After meeting and marrying Lorene, he settled into what was to become a 40 year career in the hotel / hospitality business.

Taking an early retirement he worked with his son Brian in the home building industry, and settled into the South Cariboo region in 1995.

For those who came to know him, he was the egg man and chicken man of Canim Lake area. A passionate hobby became an interesting sideline.

His other son Kurc was to give him a grandson, whom he cherished.

Thou we take him to rest today, we will never forget his warm hearted and caring spirit.

Rest in peace Dad.

A Memorial Tea to Celebrate Stan’s Life will be held at 100 Mile Funeral Home between 1:00 - 4:00 PM, on Friday, September 9, 2011.
