Also including her brother-in-laws Bud (Linda), Randy, and sister-in-laws Lyn (Leo), Marj-Anne, Louise (Ralph), Sue, Michelle (Bob), and many many more nieces, nephews, and numerous close friends. She is preceded in death be her sons Ron, Malcolm (Diane), Bryan (Joyce) and her sister Betty.
Sharon was born Feb. 17, 1939 to Frederick and Flora Scott-Polson in Victoria, BC. Sharon spent her childhood and young adulthood there, then moving to Salmon Arm with her daughters in 1975 to be close to family and have a new start on life.
Sharon started working at the Salmon Arm Hospital (front office) for approx. 13 years. Sharon moved north following her daughters applying for jobs in hospitals as she went, she decided on the hospital in 100 Mile where she worked 12 years until she retired.
Soon after moving to 100 Mile she met her husband John and happily remained there until her passing. Sharon was a fun, loving, caring wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
She was loved by all who were fortunate enough to know her. She was socially active and enjoyed all sports. In her younger years we have fond memories of her as a great softball player and coach, which she did with her daughters for many years. Sharon loved bowling and golf, holidays and travelling to watch her Blue Jays.
Sharon's family would like to sincerely thank Val Severin at the Cariboo-Chilcotin Funeral Service, the emergency staff at the Kamloops and 100 Mile Hospitals and the 100 Mile Palliative Care for their wonderful care.
A Celebration of Life is planned for the future (covid permitting).
