January 14, 1960 - April 20, 2020
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sharon. She passed away peacefully on April 20,2020 at the 100 Mile Hospital.
Sharon was born to the late Robert Leftrook and Shirley Leftrook (Brackett) on January 14, 1960 in Vancouver BC. As a mining family they moved around the province including Brittania Beach, Houston and Hendrix Lake. Sharon's birth mom passed away when she was young, her Dad remarried. She has 3 brothers (1 deceased), 2 sisters (1 deceased) and 4 step-siblings (1 deceased).
Sharon was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was always happy and her positive attitude, sense of humour and smile were always contagious. She was an amazingly beautiful person who would do anything for anyone. Spending time with her family, camping, summer, crocheting and taking photos were things she loved to do.
Sharon is survived by her loving husband Robert Meeks, Children: Roberta (Sean), Christopher (Lindi) and Marissa Meeks and 4 grandchildren Kaeden, Bella, Ava and Greycen.
The family requests that donations be made to the BC Cancer Foundation or 100 Mile Hospice / Palliative Care.
